Highly recommend Kent at KK AC!!!
I live in a condo and our central AC stopped cooling (right when we hit a 2-week period of miserable humid weather). I called the AC mechanic our building gets its bulk service from (who serviced our AC about a month prior) and after inspecting the unit for about 20 minutes, told me the AC compressor died and would have to be replaced. He further stated given the age of the AC unit (about 10 years), we should consider replacing the whole unit (other components might fail, would be more energy efficient). He gave us an estimate about a week later. $4,000 for the compressor or $10,000 for a new unit. Not good. Also, the new unit would have to be built and shipped from the mainland, which could take several months.
My wife and I decided to get another estimate and our friend recommended Kent.
THANK GOD WE CALLED HIM!
Within 45 minutes, he figured out that it wasn’t the compressor at all. It was a capacitor that failed and he had a replacement in his van. He changed the capacitor, powered up the AC, and it worked fine.
Kent literally saved us $10,000.
He’s an awesome guy. Responds quickly, easy to talk to, and does a thorough job.
Obviously I’m calling Kent at KK AC for all my AC repair needs going forward.

Contacted Kent on a Wednesday, got an appointment scheduled the following Friday! Mharwin, the service guy was prompt and very efficient at repairing our not so cool central air system.
He diagnosed the issue quickly, which turned out to be the capacitor, got it changed out and my house was cooling down in no time! He even made suggestions about getting some maintenance done without being pushy about it. Clearly a company who cares for their customers and not just trying to make some money!

Kent came when our appointment was scheduled and he was friendly and very professional.
Kent is what Hawaii would call O.G. As in not trying to cheat or all he thinks about is the ole mighty. He was there not to rip people off but to give them the service that was needed and at a good price!
